I grow older but I
do not pine for when
I was young,
for when the surge
of passion from a
young body took me,
no,
for now is now,
and then is then,
just memories,
no more,
and I am here as me
living with the world
and working out my
salvation as an act
of consecration to
all that I’ve been and
done,
no regrets,
just here, now,
whatever the day shall bring
in this life reflected
under the sun and moon.
