It’s funny how a first time

meeting is a connection,

and yet you can know

someone your whole life

and not connect at all.

 

Meetings of like-mind and

like-soul spring into colourful life

from nothing more than a passion

chat that opens up a strange universe

where you both belong as if it has

always been this way and ever will be.

 

Human to human these are moments

of joy and discovery that point to

the unexpected in the routine and

the closeness of humanness, not

the inevitability of distance.
