Loss is the robber

of our souls and

a giver of gifts to

enlighten and wake

us up to the joy of

the life that sits in

front of our eyes.

 

Loss has two faces

that we can only 

see as we turn this way

or that, glancing at the 

emptiness of one and 

the  vastness created 

by the mirrored other.

 

The two face of loss cannot 

be separated, for the losing 

and the giving are twins and

can never be torn asunder.
