I am grateful I am here
breathing the sky,
star wondering,
crunching the earth
with my feet,
living this fragment
not fragmentary,
full, with conviction,
from silence to silence,
fashioning words to tell
these stories of living,
loving and dying on this
earth that is and ever will
be the All, and I,
in my privilege, got to
know it just a fraction,
a mere jot and tittle,
before enfolding into
its body from whence I came.
