We are human—

Homo Sapiens evolving still,

and tethered to our past

that works in us in ways 

that we still do not understand; 

and we are driven insatiably

to find the answers in our 

existential search for meaning

that is inward and backward,

and forward in our vision of futures,

and opened through our eyes that point 

out  to the vast space of 

genesis that began it all.
