Whenever I try to be
profound in words divine,
I end up being quite perfunctory
and never finding what it is I really
want to say, when I sit with
pen and write on page.
But then in moments of release,
in the ease of just being me undivided
and letting the words form in
the mystery of the here-and-now,
I find that awesome coming together
that for me creates profundity
astonishing and surprising,
joyous and complete.
