Lies, manipulation, post-truth:
can we expect better than that?
Saying, “I don’t know” or
“it’s the others’ responsibility”
is the sign of the times when
nothing is open, and honesty
is scarce like a bird flying high
over the barrel of a gun that
will bring it down full dead.
So, there is no truth, no right
no wrong, no answers to the
questions we all ask? Nothing
at all except a construction
of fiction that is so neat it
just has to be believed.
No truth, no right, no wrong,
no lies, except what we are
told is true by those who we
trust that are supposed to know.
