I have ambition written 

in my yearning soul too,

and I am more than the sum

of the impressions that 

drive your point of view.

 

You see me as a collective term,

but I am me with all the world

that I bring as I come across

your path and challenge your view.

 

I am looking for a refuge too

that’s as safe as the one you 

hold close in your heart.

 

If only you could know all the 

human things that make me like you.

 

I come from another place with truth too.
