As night falls,

as day looms,

I am seeking peace

in all I say and do.

 

This is not a mouthing off

with no substance but

a desire to disarm and

come to another with an

open greeting to connect.

 

As day dies,

as night enfolds,

I embrace compassion,

the starting point of peace.
