Resurrection is the ground

of love—is the place of rising

above the self that was—to 

be the human forming from

death’s ashes, forming virgin new

from the bones grey and twisted

to flesh that cares, that cares

more than the burnt body

unidentifiable and buried

in the dungeon cold ground.
