Listening to you in the
silence of now:
hearing your voice and
seeing your lips moving,
and watching the words
falling as leaves from
which I am creating,
in this intricacy, my
soft bed of meaning.

Being with you without
force or agenda,
just sitting as presence
one with another,
me listening to you,
you speaking without
interruption.
