The darkness:

the darkness of the night,

the darkness of the day flowing,

the darkness everywhere like

the threads of the universe

invisible to sight.

 

The darkness watching but not watched,

not diminished by the light;

silent and waiting like it always has,

everything and nothing as

the core of mystery itself.
