Sunset smiles on
my priviledged life
at the conclusion of
this, another day
in my unfolding
and defolding living,
caught between the
sunrise and the sunset,
the revolution and
the cycles that have
attended my existence,

I look at the sunset
and smile as it shares
its artist colours and
fills me with hope
beyond the night to come.
