Difference?

 

It’s only

skin deep,

no deeper

than a surface layer,

no more than

the outer.

 

Inside,

the same blood

flows with life,

and the same

heart beats

with passion.

 

So, it’s only

skin deep,

just skin

that feels

like all skin,

just derma

seen by

eyes that witness

like all eyes.

 

No difference,

just skin deep,

as deep as the

skin that

covers us all.
