I am hearing the laughs

and screams of my grand children

playing freely in the back yard,

and what I am hearing is truth,

not the truth that religions want to

sprout or politicians like to claim,

just the truth of living as beings

caught up in joy, caught up with

each other, caught up in the now,

breathing, happy, released.
