My body has been inside you,

my heart beside you in these years,

these times of smiles and tears,

and the fears that nothing will last

beyond the next tum of the day,

that moves the way it will, even if

we think we have a say over what

will evolve and resolve from this

stream of hours, of days, of weeks

and years that we call a life.

 

My body is inside yours and you smile

as if eternity is in this moment of flesh

with flesh, heart beside heart, feelings

unleashed, and together we are enough.
