Clock on the wall,
looking, ticking,
waiting for the
time to pass,
all too fast,
and too slow;
been there since
time began in this
place, in this pocket
in an ordinary street,
that moves tick to tick
in phases and turns
of life, in events, in
meanings of new life,
birth, change and death.
Clock on the wall ticks,
looking, keeping the
day, the hour, the minute,
the moments that shape
a place in an ordinary street.
