As a man,

as a human,

as a being 

with drifting flesh;

examination 

as truth:

person-wide,

no lies, 

darkness into

light,

stuttering

to open.

Examination.

Old but young.

Time but no time.

A face in the mirror

that shapes with

thoughts of 

yesterday, 

today,

but not tomorrow.
