Time will have its way,
like a master with bonded
slaves who takes a life
and shapes it for itself.
And time cares not for
status or privilege and
brings its ticking certainty
to every person who treads
the dusty path of their life.
In this, we find our
commonality as beings given
nothing more than the
moments that make each day.
In this, we see the goal
to waste not these precious
moments on destruction that
takes away these fragments
that the master has allowed.
