I will always love you,
even if you go away
and I don’t have time
for you in the madness
that is this strange
little desperate life.

I will always yearn for you
with a desire like an addiction
that I do not want to lose,
for I want you inside me,
just as I am inside of you.

For this love was not built
in some heightened moment
or pocket of despair but is
embedded in the history of my
life across years, in long nights
of love where the passion
only grew with each tiny note.

I will always love you till the
curtain is drawn across the sky.
