The day is sunny,

and the mood

is serenity,

loaded with

fearless dreams

and cheery

warm expectations.

 

Then a subfusc cloud

comes silently

and hides

the warmth

and the hopeful

glow

of expectation.

 

The cloud  dispels

the quiet

internal cheer

and leaves a cool

breeze

that strikes

the skin,

and then reminds

the intrepid traveller

on the journey of hope

that doubt

is only

one cloud away.
