Gentle still

and sweet lit morning,

opening to smiling eyes

with the first insistent rays

of sunlight,

and saluted in these waking moments

by birds chattering.

 

The smell of freshness

of the new day

lingers delicately in the air

for just a short

tender moment of creation.
