Noise.

 

Clash of whirling sounds,

rankling with

echoes of activity,

human and not human.

 

Traffic condensed,

with sirens and beeps

coming and going,

with motors running and roaring

together in synchrony

and apart.

 

Vehicles puffing out smoke

and cutting rubber

in a race for meaning,

in a world of

ceaseless searching

and endless seeking.

 

Noise.
