Shall I find you there

in the breath of this

newborn child?

 

Shall I see you in warm

evening smiles that

collapse the day into the

cool echoes of night?

 

Shall I look for you in the

sparkle of the morning song

as the day is lit and burns

with the yearning of life?

 

Shall I wait for you here

in the silences of a life

lived in full view?
