Relationships are complex
and tightly woven
so that their unravelling
or their fixing are
equally complex
and fraught with
problems unforeseen
that stick out jagged
and bring trauma
like a sharp knife
through cloth.
Filled with the binding
strings of trust and the
sharp steel edges of distrust,
relationships are always
wanted but never easy,
stuffed with desire and need
but never fully satisfying.
