What can a person

With a conscience do?

Nothing it seems

In this world

Where money

Rules the game more than

Thoughts, or ideals or

Deeds of good will,

And people can

Be bought and sold.

 

But the question

Just won’t go away:

What can a person

Of conscience do?

Maybe lose and concede

To those who shape

Our bodies and

Twist our minds.

 

What can a person

through Conscience do?

This question will always

Be heard by those

Who can hear.

Never cede to

The convenient agenda,

And always look at

The world through

Lenses that

Colour it

Green for do,

Not red for stop.
