This our lives:

moving forward,

this way, that,

with surprises,

stabilities,

and instabilities;

and who would

have guessed

that this is the

way it turned

and came to be,

only to turn

another way for

the next day.

 

Such is the world

and such is us that

more forward in

intricate, unfolding

and refolding patterns

of crossing, intersecting

and missing

that surprise us with

their beauty and terror

at every turn.
