You know who you are:
you who suffer without rage,
you who are passed by,
for none care to stop
and ask the question-Why?

I see you in your wish
for something else beyond
this travesty, but I catch
your happiness too that
goes against the expectation
that you must desire more.

We are we.
And you are you.
We were born to this.
And you were born too.

What do we share in this
electric dream?

Perhaps a wish,
or a smile,
even a moment,
yes a moment,
when we stand
together alive.
