How to make sense
of the Census:
you put in a code,
but its too much
of a load for
the poor little system
to grin and bear;
so then all the polies,
who are so sad and sorry,
jump up and down
and play a children’s game
called pass the blame;
but most of us
who see the folly
and laugh aloud at
the fake despair,
just end up saying
that nothin’ changed
and in actual fact
we really don’t care.
