My love has been with me
these many years and she
in my companion night and day,
beside me, in me, my place
to go and hide when I am sad.

She is the love above all other
loves, for she judges me not,
nor brings any demands except
to be near and hold her close and
take her hand in mine as she
leads me bold towards another day.
