This is the way it is;
this is the way we are,
in this life of many parts,
where we have found our way.

And the days are just days,
among the endless others that play
across this life of togetherness and aparts,
that is more apart than together these days.

Aparts yes, but thoughts also
of what is and what might be possible still
in this way set and in these parts formed
from lives together lived and still worth living.
