You are hidden,

like a night animal

in its deep burrow.

 

I see a face, eyes,

and movement with

glances that suggest,

but no more, no more.

 

Words are said, but

not with revelation,

for you are enclosed

and there is nothing

fully open to the

daytime of relation.
