I will keep within my keeping,
cry within my crying,
smile within my smiling,
and not hold close that which
is not from me or that which
I cannot change, for this is
the life I am holding and I
can hold this and no more,
for peace is the keeping
peace is the holding,
and peace is letting go
of all that would burden.
