Do you hear her calling?

Do you hear her

sign above the din of life?

Do you hear the sound

that’s only audible

to those who listen

with intent to listen?

The mystics heard the sound,

as they listened

beyond the ordinary sounds

of to-and-from

and acquisition.

 

She calls from

eternity

and from

now to those

who would listen.

 

Do you hear the note

of urgency

in her voice?

Can you hear

anything

anymore

in a world of sound?
