Just to be

Just to be

with self

as body

without additions,

without the extensions that

create a sort of self:

a technological self,

a virtual self,

a company self,

a professional self,

a self that is about others.

Just to be

with self

as body

in the epoch of now,

without imagination and will,

without the past with layers

of sediment

that cloud the now

with manacles of expectation.

Just to be

with self

as body

now

in this moment

of soft, deep breath

and extinction.

Just to be.

Be.
