I want to return, return again, to you

as human being, naked, living in fragile moments,

finding a place in the world just like me,

and with needs and aspirations that

are rooted in the ancient call to survival

that has always been there, even if it is

covered now in layers of artifice,

even if we think we have moved beyond our

biology and the voice of the calling blue earth

that determines everything we are and will ever be—

to you, and only you, I want to return.
