I found myself the other day
with my grandchildren,
wrestling, playing, silly
laughing, being not myself,
just here with these sweet souls
less than 10,
who know me only as
the one who sits and plays,
and loves,
nothing more,
here in the radical space
of nothing else where joy
has descended as
the sacred way.
