May I sit will you
on the edge of this cliff,
with the jagged rocks below,
and together
we can look out across
the world as it will be,
or might become,
speaking simpatico,
full hoping,
afraid but daring too,
as we sit on the cliff,
holding hands unsure,
waiting to fall but wishing
to glide serene to the
beautiful valley
imagined below?
