We are prisoners to our bodies,
to the changing sea of our health,
to the uncertainties of being and
to seeing the state of humankind.

And yet, we see beyond the prison
walls to what might be and launch
the boat of our imagination to take
us to places we have never been.

We are prisoners to the limits of this
life for sure, but then we can dream
of possibilities and create worlds and
read of lives other than what we have.
