Morality just left the building,
and instead the strong-men of
political will stand on the parapets
with their guns cocked, scoping
out whoever they want to fall.

There is now but us and them,
them and us, the divide,
and nothing between,
just a mythical belief in the Wall
to keep the sheep and
the goats apart, and what
is right is what they say is
right, and heroes are villains
and villains are heroes
and Captain Hook has come
to play in this dark Neverland.
