1. Birth

This body is formed uniquely
and exquisitely in the coming
together, in passion, energy,
and the purposeful of nature,
and is a creative act from
that which was disparate
to an intimate emergence
and awareness that is made
gradually from the whole.

2. Arisings to enlightenment

This whole becomes body, mind
and soul, together, opening
to the arisings that flow and
recede in awareness and grow and
grow and grow as a strong plant
to become lovingkindness that
is enlightenment from moment
to moment, given fully now in
compassion for each being
uniquely formed in this holy
and beautiful coming together
that is also shaped by suffering.

3. Death

Each being has only this time
for contemplation and awareness,
only this interval to add to totality,
only now for compassion and to confront
the ravages of suffering, and then
there is the order of dissolution,
a returning to all that is immeasurable,
to be part of another unique coming that
is formed and giving to the present world.
