We are made from a glorious fabric,
woven together as one body and mind,
sewn intimately as a seamless garment
unique, with patterns, patches, and holes,
frayed and worn, but always complete.

We are nature’s substance:
indivisible, constantly created
as a thinking, feeling, desiring
form, animated and changing
the world, but dependent and
connected as a creature of
the earth, bounded and free.
