I am sitting now in the
quietness of the silent day
sensing here my own presence
and that of all that intimately
surrounds me in sky and earth.

I breathe the air that keeps me
alive, and my feet are on the
ground in this privilege that is a
life lived among all the creatures
with which I share the sky and earth.
