How much safe is safe?
Walled away behind protections
and sanitisations-is that safe?
A life without risk-is that safe?
Locked away in a glass cabinet-
is that safe?

Do you want to be the perfect
porcelain doll?

I say that I want to be unsafe:
living a little edgy and not
suffocated by fear of the world.

I say get out and live, live this
life that is once only, and don’t retire
to the comfort of your soft bed.

How much safe is safe? I repeat.

I came to this world naked and
naked I will return,
and in this life worth living,
naked I will be.
