G-Minor

What do you say
when there’s nothing
left to say?

Looking into each other’s eyes.
An ironic smile.
A voice without voice.
Or unfinished statements.
Breathe and breathing.
A familiar tune.

This is where we are in this
hunt for each other.

And we take what we take.
And we give what we give.
And it’s never enough,
but there’s nothing more.

Our lives are in G-Minor,
but that’s not so bad,
for we have the harmony
and dissonance in this song
without lyrics, which we play
again and again and again.
