I am thinking about
what I am building:
each part from the
foundation to the roof,
from the earth to the sky.

I am considering the
materials of this edifice
that stretches across
my history, through time
that will come to an end.

I am building it now,
and making repairs and
thinking about what it
might look like in the
not so clear distance.

Each part with the other
and then beyond to town,
community, city in which
this building stands from its
muddy foundations to the sky.
