I shall live my life
without regret,
upon this vale,
this earth,
this one love
above all else.
I shall see the
past as vanished,
and only visible in the
thin veil of memory
that floats in or
out upon a whim.
You may have objections
to this, my call about
what once was and
never comes again,
but for me (perhaps not
for you) the past,
and all the triumphs,
tragedies and hurts
are as dust in the wind
that moves and is gone
or opens up new vistas
once it is flown.
Do not take this
as judgement upon your
past that may still haunt you
like the Christmas ghost.
There is no judgement,
for this is me living now
upon a sea that moves
me relentlessly on to
never return.
