Look above the crowd
with their cast down eyes
and see the mountains ahead,
and gaze on the clouds
white, grey and black,
for you are not like others
who see less and less,
and you are more than this
throng that examines their feet,
for you want success
rather than defeat .

Look up, look up
and see the sun and the moon,,
for there lies a future
in which you can dream
all that is possible,
all that is great,
all that is precious,
beyond this place
where you’re bound.
