Who is this art for
if not for myself and others?

For in creating art I am
not creating a product.

I am giving of my life
and I am offering the sacred
to those who seek it.

I am sponsoring a way of feeling
and seeing into dark crevices.

That is the purity of art.
Beyond that there is
no art at all.
