I am meeting you here
in this place,
in this space,
confined for you and me,
and here we can be
authentic or not,
real with each other
the best we can,
or live in the illusion
that we are being true
to the feeling\s we have
and honest about
what is actually there.

We can meet face to face,
eyes to eyes,
sometimes direct,
sometimes averted,
but in this place,
this constructed space,
there is not avoidance or
running away,
just the tension and
presence of two together
making sense of this time.
